First round U18 Draft pick Cameron Gaylor commits to Steelheads

Mississauga, ON – In the hours leading up to their home opener, the Mississauga Steelheads have announced that the club has received a commitment from 2017 first round (13th overall) OHL Under-18 Priority Selection choice Cameron Gaylor.
A 5-foot-11, 170Ib. left-winger who doesn’t turn 18 until November 19th, Gaylor spent the 2016-17 season with the Don Mills Flyers Midget AAA team, recording seven goals, 16 assists and 23 points.
In four pre-season games, the Toronto native scored twice and added an assist as the Trout went 2-0-2.
The Steelheads raise their 2017 Eastern Conference championship banner to the heights of the Hershey Centre tonight when they host the Ottawa 67’s in their 2017-18 home opener.
