SARNIA, ON – Sarnia Sting General Manager, Nick Sinclair announced today that the club has come to terms with Free Agent, Sean Josling, on a Standard Player Agreement and Education Package.
Josling, a Toronto native, was a member of the 2016 Telus Cup Champions, North York Rangers – posting 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist) in 7 tournament games en route to Gold. Through the regular season, Josling was second in team scoring with 16 goals and 14 assists for a total of 30 points.
Despite being undrafted to the OHL, the 99-born winger registered 59 points in 55 games during his minor midget campaign with the Toronto Red Wings.
Sinclair comments on today’s addition, “Sean is a guy that caught the attention of our scouting staff last season while playing with North York. He came in and had a really strong Orientation Camp at the start of the summer and carried that over to main camp this week. Sean’s combination of work ethic and skill have certainly earned him this opportunity, and we’re very pleased to welcome him to the hockey club.”
